The Norwegian Campaign was a successful military action by Germany to occupy Norway. Some allied tried to help fighting. These countries were: The U.K., France and and the Polish Armed Forces in the West.
It started on 9 April 1940.
At May the U.K. and France left the battle because the invasion of France had just begun. So the desperate Norwegians couldn't defend their country on their own
It ended on 10 June, resulting the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany.
