Winter war was a crash between Soviet Union and Finland. It took place on November 30 1939 on East Finland. Soviet Union had more troops than Finland.
It ended on 13 March 1940 with the Moscow Peace Treaty. By the Soviet Union took the gulf of Finland, Karelian Isthmus, Ladoga Karelia, Salla, Rycbachy Peninsula, and a part of Hanko.
